Why do we constantly need to fundraise?

It currently costs £1.8 million per year to run the Hospice, maintaining the excellence of care we provide for our patients and their families and the standard of our buildings and facilities.

Just 13% of our income is provided by the local government. This means that the remainder of our costs - some £1.5million - have to be raised through the generosity of our local community
